UPDATE: A Sesame Street Romance

September 19, 2020

**The Princess of Mrowtown has requested to keep her identity anonymouse, so from this point on, I will be referring to her as Princess Rainflower.

On August 24, 2020, I wrote a blog entry called A Sesame Street Romance, detailing the relationship between Prince Elmo of Labland and Princess Rainflower of Mrowtown. This entry quickly became my most popular blog post. Fans of the blog reported being “really entertained.” So, in this article I’ll be discussing the progress of this romance since then, again complete with STEAMY details and INSIDER interviews!!

A fan of the blog (FBI Agent Ria, criminology @ UCSD) also submitted some cute Relmo fanart.

In addition, Princess Rainflower has changed the wallpaper of her computer to the following:

Recently, there were rumors that the two had a bit of a falling out. Princess Rainflower was helping a Biology student with her experimental set up, when she realized the lab called for “pets and children” to stay away. She then remarked “Oh no! Guess we’ll have to tell Elmo and Mr. Snuffleupagus to leave..”

Both Elmo and Mr. Snuffleupagus said they were deeply offended by the Princess’ words.

When confronted about the incident, Princess Rainflower claimed that both Elmo and Mr. Snuffleupagus were highly allergic to Hydrogen Peroxide (which was an important part of the Biology student’s Enzyme Catalysis lab), and she was simply looking out for them.

Personally, I don’t buy it. I’ve never heard of a Hydrogen Peroxide allergy! And what are the odds BOTH Elmo and Mr. Snuffleupagus are allergic to it? But my question is, which one did was she implying Elmo and Mr. Snuffleupagus were? Pets or Children?

It seems like the couple was able to move past this incident and rekindled their relationship. In fact, I found Princess Rainflower doodling a totally adorable message in her statistics notebook. She claimed she was “practicing her calligraphy”, but I don’t believe that was her only motive!

To the relief of many fans of the blog, it seems like Relmo is here to stay!!
